Whether you are a Database Administrator (DBA), DevOps engineer, security administrator, or IT helpdesk specialist, User Manager makes routine user provisioning, role adjustments, and offboarding fast, reliable, and error-free.

DELEGATE ACCESS SAFELY WITHOUT SUPERUSER PRIVILEGES
In enterprise and growing organizations, onboarding and offboarding employees can consume hours of valuable DBA time. User Manager enables DBAs to safely delegate role assignment and user management to helpdesk or security personnel:
• Operates with standard CREATEROLE privileges—never requires granting risky SUPERUSER access to delegated staff.
• Enforces database-level permission constraints and prevents circular role inheritance errors.

KEY CAPABILITIES:
• Intuitive Role Separation: Automatically categorizes PostgreSQL roles into Users (can login) and Groups (privilege holders) for clear, unambiguous management.
• Instant Attribute Visibility: Inspect and toggle key role attributes—including Superuser, Inherit, Create DB, Create Role, Replication, and Bypass RLS.
• One-Click Grants & Revocations: Easily assign users to department and application groups (e.g., HR, Sales, Analytics) to inherit object-level permissions.
• Secure Local Storage: Credentials are securely vaulted using Windows Credential Manager—passwords are never saved in plain text.
