Description

Valt0 keeps your app's secrets (database passwords, API tokens, cloud keys) in one encrypted file, called a vault, that you commit right next to your code.

Without its key, the vault is unreadable, so you can keep it anywhere: in your repo, in the cloud, on a USB stick. Keep the key safe, and share it only with those who need access. Valt0 shows the key once and doesn't keep it.

Create a vault. Store a secret. Commit the file. When your app needs a secret, it asks a small service on your own machine.

There's no account. The vault leaves your machine only when you push it to your git host.

Use one vault per environment, each with its own key, so a leaked dev key exposes nothing in production.
