Version 2.2 makes EncryptEngine safer to use with files you can't afford to lose.

• A mistyped password or a cancelled operation can no longer delete or damage a file that was already there.
• If "Delete original" can't remove a file (for example, it's open in another program), you are told, instead of a message saying it was removed.
• Password-protected files from version 1.x now open even after being renamed, and passwords with characters like €, curly quotes or dashes now work.
• Passwords with accented letters work whether they are typed or pasted.
• Decrypted text and session keys you copy are kept out of clipboard history and cleared after 30 seconds.
• Cancel now stops folder encryption and extraction straight away.
• Creating, backing up and restoring an identity no longer freezes the window.
• If your contacts or identity list can't be read, they are recovered or backed up instead of being lost, and the app tells you.
• The Encrypt and Decrypt pages lock while a task runs, so nothing changes underneath it.
• The "System" theme now follows Windows while the app is open.
• Better screen reader support, and smaller fixes throughout.

Files are fully compatible with version 2.1.
