The app was created for people using a shared calendar for planning (like a shared outlook.com account for the whole family) who need to get notified when something changes in the calendar. Since everyone uses the same account standard appointment notifications don't work well here.
Appointment data is read from the local calendars so the app depends on these calendars to be updated regularly.
Note: this app only reads your appointments, it never changes any data.
Capability overview:
* Appointment access: is needed to detect calendar changes
* Contact access: is currently not needed, but will be in the future when new syncing options are added (the app might have to look up attendees of appointments)
* Background app: the app will run in the background but has a very low footprint
There are no limits in the trial version. Simply buy the app if you enjoy it.
