miCal 2.0 for Mac is a complete rebuild — native on Apple Silicon and Intel, and with everything that was missing before.

New:
- create, edit and delete events directly in miCal
- custom repeat rules: every few days, weeks, months or years, on the weekdays you pick, on days of the month or on the second Tuesday — ending never, after a number of times, or on a date
- search across titles, locations and notes, a year back and a year ahead
- run the calendar from the keyboard: arrow keys by day and week, ⌘← and ⌘→ by month, "t" for today, "+" for a new event
- event details now show who was invited and how they answered, and the location on a map
- type an event in plain language and see the day it lands in before you save it — collisions included
- or use a form instead, if you would rather fill in fields
- all settings in one window instead of scattered through a menu
- a default duration and a default reminder for new events
- German and English

Your settings come along: the calendars you had selected, your keyboard shortcuts and "start at login" are all still there.

miCal 2.0 requires macOS 14 or later.
