Double-Entry Bookkeeping
Debit and credit, assets and liabilities, expenses and revenue. The classic accounting system is designed to ensure that your journal entries are complete. In Double-Entry Bookkeeping you create accounts, record opening balances and post journal entries. Based on this, Double-Entry Bookkeeping calculates daily balance lists as well as balance sheets and profit and loss. Double-Entry Bookkeeping provides a comprehensive overview of your business and personal finances. You use Double-Entry Bookkeeping not because you have to, but because you want to.
