• Open a lightweight search window from any app with a configurable global shortcut
• Search the last indexed metadata from external drives even while they are disconnected; reconnect the drive to open or preview a file
• Give imported folders custom names without renaming them in Finder
• Drag one or multiple folders into the main window, or select several at once, then review names and choices before importing
Lightning-fast search
• Search all imported folders at once or focus on one folder
• Match file names, full paths, and relative paths
• Keep the local index current as files are created, deleted, or renamed
Precise filters
• Combine keywords, extensions, file size, creation date, and modification date
• Exclude drafts, caches, build outputs, and other unwanted subfolders
• Save frequent searches and reuse them from the sidebar
Faster result browsing
• Browse by name, path, size, and modification date
• Use pagination and choose the number of results per page
• Select a file and press Space for Quick Look, or preview it from the context menu
• Open a file directly or reveal it in Finder
Local and private
• Index file metadata such as name, path, size, dates, and extension—never file contents
• Keep the index database on your Mac; files and search history are not uploaded
• Access only folders you choose, using the macOS App Sandbox and security-scoped bookmarks
• Use read-only access that never modifies your files
