Search for your favourite music, import your own tracks, or use Shazam® to identify songs and organise them into projects.
Separate a song into instrument stems and create your own practice mix. Isolate a part to hear it clearly, reduce or mute it to play the part yourself, and combine the mixer with loops, slowdown, metronome and Practice Assistant.
Create named song sections and practise them with A-B repeat, pitch-stable slowdown, loop playback and fast navigation. Practice Assistant lets you build guided practice sequences with changing tempo, loops, metronome settings, layouts and instrument mixes.
Analyse and explore your music. Detect tempo, key, chords, beats and musical structure. The expanded Melody Track Viewer visualises melodic and polyphonic information, chords, beats and drum events, with instrument-specific analysis available for separated tracks.
Built-in practice tools include lyrics and notes, metronome modes, tuner, SPL meter and recording. Record practice sessions, review your progress and keep projects and recordings available across devices with iCloud.
Teachers and workshop leaders can share projects with students, receive recorded practice sessions through AirDrop®, iMessage, email or NFC touch, and return scores, remarks and notes that appear during project playback.
DaCapo Studio is also designed for everyday listening. Play your projects and favourite music, or use Dynamic Playlists for a personalised, ad-free radio experience. Optional hourly news streams can keep you informed while listening.
Whether you’re quickly learning a riff, isolating an instrument, studying a complete song or building a structured practice routine, DaCapo Studio keeps listening, learning and practising in one integrated workspace.
DaCapo Studio offers optional in-app purchases to unlock Premium features. Premium is available as a monthly subscription, yearly subscription or Lifetime Premium purchase.
In the USA, yearly subscriptions are available with annual upfront payment only. Outside the USA, yearly subscriptions require a 12-month commitment and may be available with annual upfront payment or monthly instalments, depending on the App Store offering.
