This version is about what goes into Reverie and what comes out of it. Two AUv3 plugins connect it to your DAW, in both directions, and the app can now record a sound for itself instead of waiting for a file.

PLAY YOUR TEXTURES IN AN AUv3 HOST
A texture used to leave Reverie as an exported file you then dragged into a track. Now it can play in the session itself, in time with everything else. Load "Parallel Minds: Reverie" in AUM, Logic Pro, GarageBand, Cubasis or any other AUv3 host and it shows up as an instrument. It does not generate: you still make your textures in the app, and the plugin opens your library and plays them. From a keyboard, so a held note holds the drone and releasing it lets the tail fall away. It follows the host transport and moves with the playhead. Inside the plugin: search, favourites, your own presets, MIDI-mappable controls, automation, and the app's rendering progress so you know when the next texture is ready.

RECORD A DAW TRACK BACK INTO REVERIE
The other direction: the pad you just wrote, four bars of a loop, the tail of your own mix, any of it can become the next thing you stretch. "Parallel Minds: Reverie Capture" is the second plugin, an effect this time. Drop it on any bus and the audio passes through untouched. Arm it and it also records what goes past, starting when the host plays and stopping on the tail. The recording lands in Reverie's new Sources inbox, ready to stretch. No bouncing, no exporting, no hunting through Files.

RECORD INTO THE APP
No DAW involved: Reverie now records by itself, from the iPad microphone or a USB interface. So the thing you stretch can be the room you are sitting in, a voice, a passing train, anything you can point a mic at, with no file to find first. Pick your input, watch the level, see the time you have left. When you stop, the take goes straight to the editor.

CHOOSE THE PART THAT GETS STRETCHED
Two handles on the waveform pick the piece that feeds the engine: the room tone before a vocal comes in, the tail of a cymbal, one breath in the middle of a field recording. It plays back as you set it, so you hear the edges before you commit.

ALSO IN THIS VERSION
- Loop switch on every result, on by default
- Rename anything in your library
- A new look throughout, with each result carrying the colour of the preset that made it
- The most spectral presets, DNA Splice among them, no longer come out much quieter than the rest: the last stage of the mastering chain is now a soft limiter instead of a flat trim, so one stray peak stops setting the level of a whole render

FIXED
- Dragging files in from Files and other apps works again
- Quitting or reloading during a render could crash the app
- Deleting a saved take no longer leaves its card behind, and reaching the end of a take resets the player
- Better memory handling on long renders

A note on seeds: because the mastering stage changed, a seed saved in 1.13 still restores the same chain and the same settings, but the audio it renders will not be identical. Anything you have already exported is untouched.
