Press GO to spend a Die Roll and throw two dice. Move that many tiles and see where you land — a little Food, a few more Die Rolls, a wild critter worth catching, or a Gym that will not go easy on you.
Catch a critter and it joins your team. Feed it, level it, and watch it change: Sprigling becomes Bramblet becomes Thornwood. Forty critters across thirteen evolution lines, each starting small and growing into something that can hold its ground.
Gyms are how you measure yourself. A Gym team never changes, so the day you finally beat one you know exactly how far you have come. Attack tiles are the opposite — a fresh opponent team every time, so no two fights repeat.
