GBL Smart Tunnel uses Android VpnService as its core functionality to create an encrypted, device-level tunnel to a VPN endpoint selected by the user. Traffic selected by the user's routing settings is routed through a VPN profile configured by the user or their organisation. The app does not provide or sell VPN servers and does not redirect or manipulate traffic for advertising or monetization. A compatible VPN profile or subscription provided by the user or their organisation is required.
VPN profiles, subscription addresses, routing preferences and application settings are stored locally on the device. Camera access is optional and is used only to scan configuration QR codes.
