Collabtor is a smart and collaborative platform designed to help users diagnose, share, and resolve vehicle issues based on Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) and vehicle symptoms. By selecting the appropriate vehicle model, submodel, and year, users can access highly relevant and filtered content tailored to their specific vehicle.

Built for vehicle owners, technicians, and automotive professionals, Collabtor creates a shared space to document and discover real-world solutions to common and complex vehicle issues.

Subscription Access

New users receive:

2 years of complimentary access to OBD2 diagnostic features.

1 month free access to segment-based features.

Existing users without an active subscription are directed to the subscription purchase page to continue using the app’s core features.

Vehicle-Specific Setup

After launching the app, users are required to select their vehicle’s:

Submodel

This ensures that all DTC codes, symptoms, and user-generated posts shown on the home screen are relevant to the selected vehicle. It also improves the accuracy of both diagnostics and shared knowledge across the platform.

Explore and Contribute

Once a vehicle is selected, the home screen presents all related DTC and symptom-based posts for that specific model. These posts are created and shared by other users, offering a growing database of real issues, experiences, and solutions.

Users can:

View existing posts and discussions.

Contribute by adding new problem descriptions or solutions.

Engage with content tailored to their selected vehicle.

DTC-Based Posting

Users can search for any DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) relevant to their vehicle. If the code exists:

View related posts.

Click "Add" to create a new post.

Choose whether to describe a problem or provide a solution.

This structured approach makes it easier to track issues by specific fault codes and improve community support around them.

Symptom-Based Posting

If the issue is based on a symptom rather than a code:

Users can search from existing symptom listings.

If not found, new symptoms can be added.

Symptoms can be linked to the chosen vehicle model/submodel, helping others with similar issues find accurate, targeted information.
