By connecting the Stekker app to your EV, charging point or smart home, we make sure that your devices only use electricity during moments when it’s cheap, like when there is abundant sunshine or strong wind.
You don’t have to worry about when the sun shines, when it’s smartest to charge your EV, or run your laundry. By connecting Stekker to your EV, charge point or smart home, your devices consume electricity at the right time, like when there is abundant sunshine or wind.
All you need to do is install the app, pick a time at which you need the car or device to be ready, and Stekker will monitor your setup, the grid, the weather and electricity prices to choose the smartest moments to use electricity.
The result: a better use of clean energy, a more stable grid - and oh yes: lower costs for everyone!
# Getting started
Stekker is free for non-commercial users and can currently be used to charge your EV smartly. It connects to your charge point and is also compatible with numerous electric cars for additional functionality, like Tesla, Hyundai, Kia and Volkswagen. Go to our website to check compatibility or run the wizard in the app.
