คำอธิบาย
A SoftPos (Point of Sale) mobile application needs to adhere to PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements. The PCI Mobile Payment Acceptance Security Guidelines, provide the objectives and guidance for securing payment transactions on a mobile device. These guidelines include preventing card data from being intercepted, compromised, or intercepted upon transmission out of the mobile device. Additionally, solution providers must ensure that the Soft POS mobile application follows the regulations, that include the protection of the cryptographic keys, robust security against reverse engineering, a threat monitoring system, prevention of information disclosure, and protection of cardholder's primary account number (PAN) and PIN data.
As such ePay SoftPOS cannot be functional, if ran on an emulator, on a rooted device, or on a device where the developer options are enabled. In addition and to protect its security, the SoftPOS app may crash with or without information to the end user.
