Convert between overpin diameter and overteeth span measurements for external spur and helical gears,

instrument (span gauge or pin gauge) is available.

Easily calculate compound gear train combinations
(𝐴/𝐵)×(𝐶/𝐷)
(A/B)×(C/D) for two-stage gear train (such as hobbing or grinding machines).
Given a desired ratio (from machine constants or setup sheet),
the app finds multiple valid gear combinations—even when some
standard gears are unavailable.
