Interpolator is built to automate routine tasks. Imagine you need to dig a 155-meter trench for a gas pipeline, but the project only specifies the entry and exit points. You need to mark pegs every 5 meters for the excavator. Just input the elevation for the start and end of the trench and its length, and the app will calculate all necessary intermediate elevations. The app will calculate elevation for any given station. In addition, it is possible to smooth the values in the app (but this is mostly applicable for laying asphalt (i.e. to ensure a smooth entrance to the desired elevation (for example, the bridge's expansion joint)
