Beskrivning
QR Code Reader & Generator reads a code as soon as it is in view, shows you what it contains and waits for your choice. Nothing opens by itself. The scanning model is bundled with the app, so reading a code does not need an internet connection.
It is made for everyday jobs: checking a menu code, saving a Wi-Fi password, adding a contact from a flyer, or making a code for your own Wi-Fi so guests can join in one tap.
Scan codes
� Live camera scan with a torch button for dark rooms
� Scan from any photo or screenshot in your gallery, no camera needed
� QR, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Codabar, ITF, Data Matrix, PDF417 and Aztec
� A short beep and vibration on each scan, both switchable
� Optional copy to the clipboard right after a scan
Smart actions
� Websites: open the link only when you tap it, or copy and share it
� Wi-Fi: add the network on Android 11 and newer, or copy the password and open Wi-Fi settings on older versions
� Contacts: save to your contacts, call or send an email
� Phone numbers, SMS, email addresses, locations and calendar events open in your phone's own apps
� Product barcodes: search the web for the number
� Plain text: copy, share or search
Create your own codes
� QR codes for text, a website, Wi-Fi, a contact card, an email, a phone number or an SMS
� A Code 128 barcode for any text or number
� Save the image to your Pictures folder or share it from the preview
� Styled QR codes with your own colors, dot shapes and frames (Premium)
� Templates for guest and office Wi-Fi and for business cards (Premium)
History and batches
� Every scan and every code you create is saved on your phone: the latest 50 items for free, up to 500 with Premium
� Mark favorites (up to 5 free, unlimited with Premium), filter by Scanned, Created or Favorites, clear it any time or switch history off
� Batch scan: scan several codes in a row and review them as a list (Premium)
� Export your history or a batch as a CSV sheet (Premium)
� Light, dark or system theme
Good to know
� The camera permission is asked when you first scan. If you say no, you can still scan from an image, create codes and use History.
� Link checks look at the web address only. They help, but they do not guarantee that a site is safe, so look at the address before you open a link from a code you do not trust.
� Joining Wi-Fi directly needs Android 11 or newer.
� Scanning, creating and history work without internet. Ads need a connection.
� The app interface is in English.
Free, with ads
QR Code Reader & Generator is free to download and supported by ads: a banner on the Home, Create, History and Settings tabs and an occasional full-screen ad, for example after you save or share a code. Ads never appear on the camera screen.
Free with ads. Premium removes ads and unlocks every premium feature: $3.99 per month, $39.99 per year, or $59.99 one time (lifetime). Prices may vary by country. Premium includes batch scan, CSV export, styled codes, templates, a longer history and unlimited favorites. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions. Lifetime is paid once.
Privacy
No account is needed. Your scans and created codes stay on your device, and camera images are read on the phone and not uploaded. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device advertising ID depending on your consent choices. Read the privacy policy in the app or on our website.
