Speedometer is a clean and easy-to-use GPS speedometer for measuring your current speed, tracking trips, and viewing your route on a live map. It’s ideal for driving, cycling, boating, and walking — simply select the activity mode at the top for the best experience.

Location Usage

Speedometer uses your device’s location to calculate speed, distance, trip statistics, and route data in real time.

When speed measurement or trip tracking is active, the app may continue accessing location data in the background using a foreground service to ensure uninterrupted tracking. A persistent notification is displayed whenever tracking is active, and you can stop tracking at any time.

Privacy

All trips and settings are stored locally on your device.
Location data is not shared, uploaded, or used for advertising.

Note: GPS accuracy depends on your device and environmental conditions. Always prioritize safe driving and do not use the app in a way that causes distraction.
