In this new version we added CDTI Assisted Visual Separation (CAVS). This feature is part of FAA NextGen initiative to enhance situational awareness when you approach and land your aircraft.

Types of ADSB-In receivers that functions with TrafficAssist:
• Stratux/FlightBox (Falken Avionics)
• Appareo Stratus 3 (in Open ADSB Mode)
• uAvionics PingUSB
• GRT Discovery ADSB
• Dynon SV-ADSB-472 (Using the Dynon WI-FI Adapter for SkyView)
• Levil Aviation iLevil
• other ADSB-IN devices supporting the GDL90 format using Wifi
Please read the user's guide ('Help' menu item). TrafficAssist is a full screen app but the action bar and menus can be displayed by tapping the screen.
Before you buy this, you can install the free demo version:

The Demo version is fully functional but will exit after about 30 minutes. This will confirm that it works for you in your airplane with your specific ADSB-In device . This version is unrestricted.

Purpose of TrafficAssist:
1. TrafficAssist is designed to enhance situational awareness by providing information about nearby air traffic based on ADSB-In.
2. The program is not intended to replace or relieve the user from the responsibility of visually seeing and avoiding other aircraft during flight.
3. Limited Reliability and Accuracy:
• The accuracy and reliability of TrafficAssist are subject to various factors, including data availability, system limitations, and real-time conditions.
• Users are cautioned that the program may not provide complete or real-time information on all nearby air traffic.
4. Visual See and Avoid Responsibility:
• Users acknowledge and agree that the primary responsibility for the safe operation of an aircraft remains with the pilot.
• Visual see and avoid responsibilities, as outlined in aviation regulations, must be maintained by the pilot at all times, irrespective of the information provided by TrafficAssist.
5. Environmental and System Limitations:
• Adverse weather conditions, environmental factors, and system limitations may impact the functionality of TrafficAssist.
• Users are advised to consider the limitations of the program and exercise additional caution, especially in challenging flight conditions.
6. Compliance with Aviation Regulations:
• Users must comply with all applicable aviation regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to see and avoid responsibilities and the use of traffic information systems.
• TrafficAssist is not a substitute for compliance with regulatory requirements.
7. Human Factors and Decision-Making:
• Pilots are reminded that human factors, decision-making skills, and visual observation are critical components of safe flight operations.
• Relying solely on TrafficAssist without maintaining visual awareness may lead to a failure to see and avoid other aircraft.
