It provides clear calculations and visualizations for common problems in aircraft structural analysis and sizing.
StruCalc is intended for educational use, preliminary analysis, and engineering sanity checks.
**Included Tools:**
• Section Properties & Stress
–Area, centroid, moments of inertia, section modulus, and stress analysis for common sections
• Beam Internal Loads
– Support reactions, shear and bending diagrams for simple beams and combined loading
• Mohr’s Circle (2D Stress)
– Principal stresses, maximum shear stress, and orientation
• Elastic Column Buckling (Euler)
– Preliminary buckling screening for slender compression members with effective length factors
• Stress Due to Axial and Bending Loads
– Compute section stress based on user-defined area, moment of inertias and location.
**Methods and Validation:**
Calculations use standard closed-form analytical formulas, cross-checked against independent hand calculations and standard engineering references, including:
