- Git work often spans work and personal projects. Gitonium now respects each repository’s Git user settings (`user.name` and `user.email` in that repo’s config), so commits match what Git would use—and stay in sync with other tools or hand-edited config.
Repository Settings brings those fields together with remote credentials. We’ve also made it easier to get started by pulling in your existing Git user when Gitonium doesn’t have a default yet.
