Description
For large format art projects like murals and larger canvas paintings, it's helpful to plan your color layers ahead of time. Traditional digital image editing tools are really helpful and should often be part of this process. However, the final palette selection and layer extraction steps can be tedious with tools not optimized for these tasks.
Paint Layers lets you select an input image and optional focus area mask and maximum numbers of colors to optimize your palette. It also has parameters to optimize for canvas and brush sizes, so you can preview and plan for the scale you need. It also separates low and high detail areas for backing color vs precision painting areas.
