Beskrivning
It helps developers, reviewers, and AI-assisted coding workflows understand a codebase faster by generating two files next to the selected project:
- code_graph.json: a structured graph of files, symbols, ranges, and relationships.
- code_map.md: a compact Markdown overview that is easy to read or paste into AI tools.
The app supports many common languages, including Dart, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java, Kotlin, C, C++, C#, Ruby, PHP, Bash, HTML, CSS, JSON, YAML, and Markdown.
Code Tree Indexer runs parsing locally on your Windows device. It uses bundled tree-sitter parsers compiled into the app, so no external parser service is required.

- Select a project folder from a simple desktop interface.
- Generate a structured code graph for analysis and automation.
- Generate a readable Markdown code map for documentation, prompts, and reviews.
- Support projects with multiple programming languages.
- Optionally respect ignored files and common generated or dependency folders.
- Run native parsing in-process for fast local indexing.
This tool is useful when preparing code context for AI assistants, reviewing unfamiliar repositories, documenting project structure, or creating lightweight code intelligence artifacts without uploading source code to a remote service.
