Deforestation currently accounts for more that 10% of the global greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). Since e-commerce is trillion dollar economy, if everybody were to use TreeClicks, enormous amounts of forests could be planted.
The size of the e-commerce industry in the USA is more than 500 billion dollars. If only a tiny percentage of it goes to tree planting, we can plant an area with the size of California.
With this Safari App Extension, you're taking a small step in becoming more sustainable by letting us plant trees and support other green projects by shopping online.
Of course, for the environment it it best to shop as little as possible. However, in some cases, you might still need something. Then, at least, you can give something back to nature. We also published a store list on our website that contains more ethical and eco-friendly shops.
