Mastering Tool
Mastering Tool is a standalone macOS® audio utility designed for audio content creators. It features three essential and global effective real-time modules for audio file processing: « The Infinite Wheel » the « Beast Equalizer » and the « Master Limiter ». These modules leverage Apple® AVAudioUnit technology.

Most of the time, during the audio or music creation process, the designer focuses on the sound under specific listening conditions (professional studio monitors) with a purely artistic goal. A good mix or recording tends to maintain a limited sound level, usually not exceeding a certain threshold such as -6 dB RMS, and sometimes even lower, reaching possibly -15 dB RMS. The « Mastering Tool » application provides the ability to calibrate your audio files to achieve a professional sound output aligned closely with your desired maximum level (for example, 0 dBFS, -10 dBFS, -16 LUFS, etc.).

3 GLOBAL REAL-TIME AUDIO MODULES :

« THE INFINITE WHEEL »
- The “Infinite Wheel” module is an endless fader, which allows to increase or reduce the gain (level) from your original sound.
« BEAST EQUALIZER »
- The “Beast Equalizer” is a 66 bands graphic equalizer with an integrated relative linear spectrometer : used to correct and match as close as possible to the original sound.
« MASTER LIMITER »
- The “Master Limiter” limits the sound level of your Master to not exceed your maximum goal level.

- Real time settings
- Original vs Master monitoring
- Peak/dBFS meter
- Peak/LUFS meter (Momentary and Short Term Loudness)
- Global Loudness EBU R128 information

PARAMETERS AND SETTINGS :

- 2 Native file document formats .MTOOL and .MTPCK
- Import settings from others Mastering Tool projects

EXPORT YOUR MASTER :

- Master Exportation
- Selection export (useful for sample loop creation)
- Dithering options (Noise Shaping, TPDF)
