Hyosim is a family app that connects children and senior parents through daily greetings.

It reduces the burden of checking on their parents for busy children and provides senior parents with a simple tool that anyone can use.

【Why Hyosim?】

A single daily greeting to your parents is a greater source of strength than any medicine.

However, it is not easy for children, who are pressed for time in their daily lives, to call or send messages every day. Parents are often unaccustomed to the small text and notification banners on messenger apps or social media, so they frequently miss messages or fail to reply.

Hyosim solves both of these difficulties simultaneously. Once a child uploads a video, it is automatically sent at a set time. Parents can check their parents' well-being at a glance through a large screen and voice guidance, instead of unfamiliar notification banners.

Once a child uploads a short video, photo, or audio and sets the time to send it, it will automatically arrive on the parent's phone at the designated time thereafter. ▶ Senior-Friendly Receiving Screen

Instead of appearing as a small banner like standard notifications, it announces the arrival of a greeting with a large screen that fills the entire phone and clear Korean voice guidance.

Parents can receive the video with just a single press of the large button displayed on the screen. They can check on their child immediately without navigating complex menus.

▶ Automatic Resending and Emergency Notifications

Even if parents miss the time, it will automatically notify them again after a set period.

If they are unable to check continuously, it sends an emergency notification to their child, providing an opportunity to check on their well-being.

【Senior-Friendly Design】

▶ Large Font and Simple Screen

With Korean font sizes familiar to senior users and a simple purple background, it is immediately clear which button to press.

▶ Clear Voice Guidance

Notifies of the message arrival with a Korean voice saying, "I have come to say hello." Even those with visual impairments can recognize greetings via sound.

▶ Simple User Stream
The screens parents need to use consist of three elements: the Main Screen, the Incoming Messages Screen, and the Playback Screen. This makes it easy to learn and easy to recall even if forgotten.

【System for Family Safety】

▶ Approval-Based Connection
Even if a child registers a parent, no messages will be sent until the parent personally approves them. Unwanted individuals cannot unilaterally send greetings.

▶ Block Management
Parents can block a user directly from their child's card at any time. Once blocked, the parent's phone will not receive a notification even if the sender sends a message.

▶ Reporting System
If you receive an inappropriate message, you can report it immediately from the screen right after watching the video. Reported messages disappear from the parent's screen immediately, and the Hyosim Operations Team reviews the matter within 24 hours (or up to 2 days for complex cases) and notifies the reporter of the result. ▶ Protection of Children Under 14

【Privacy Protection】

▶ Storage on Korean Servers

All data is stored in Firebase’s Seoul region (asia-northeast3) and is not transferred overseas.

▶ Compliance with the Korean Personal Information Protection Act

Upon sign-up, we follow a clear consent procedure regarding the collection, use, transfer, and receipt of personal information and marketing information. In the event of changes to the terms, we only seek re-consent for the changed items.

▶ Immediate Deletion Upon Withdrawal

If you request to withdraw your membership through the in-app menu, all data (videos, photos, audio, and account information) will be deleted immediately.

▶ Minimal Permissions

Hyosim uses only permissions for the camera, microphone, notifications, and photo library, and does not collect location, contacts (device), precise identifiers, etc.
