* Overlay of directional indicators on the live camera image

3. See Through the Earth
* Point your phone at the ground and look through the globe
* Automatic, precise alignment
* Zoom in to better see smaller countries and islands
* Tap the image to get information about the targeted country, region, island, or ocean
* Display of target coordinates and tunnel distance :-)
* Discover your antipode or test your geography skills
4. View from Space
* Ideal during a flight, for example
* With GPS: display your position, ground speed, and flight altitude
* Without GPS: display cabin pressure and equivalent altitude

Note: Not all iPads are equipped with GPS receivers. Even in the age of GPS, the compass is still based on measuring the Earth's magnetic field. This measurement can be affected by magnets in the phone case or by other magnetic or electrical objects nearby.
