Pointerly is a macOS tool for making presentations, tutorials, and live demos more engaging. Highlight your cursor, dim distractions, and draw directly on your screen to keep your audience focused on what matters.
Key Features:
Mouse Highlight – Make your cursor and clicks stand out. Ideal for tutorials, product demos, and live presentations.
Spotlight – Dim the background to emphasize only what matters. Perfect for live demos, deep dives, and distraction-free presentations.
Laser Pointer – Temporarily highlight key points without leaving marks. Great for focusing attention during lectures, webinars, and presentations.
Whiteboard – Draw directly on the screen to explain ideas visually. Ideal for annotating slides, brainstorming, and interactive teaching.
Built with the latest SwiftUI APIs, Pointerly is designed for macOS 15 Sequoia and later. It's completely free—just a personal project shared with the community.

- Added a new highlighter style called Comet, an animated pointer that trails across the screen. It's more of a fun one than a productivity feature, but I think it looks pretty cool.
You can now assign shortcuts to launch the whiteboard with a specific tool already selected, so you can jump straight in without an extra click.
The spotlight also has a new setting to control the softness of the light cone edges, for those who want a little more control over the look.
